Best cooking method:
For best results, fry on a hot plate or in a frying pan. Cook on a high heat for 4½ minutes before turning once and cooking for a further 4 minutes to achieve a medium rare burger. If you prefer your burger rare, reduce the after-turning cooking time to 3 – 3½ minutes. For a medium burger cook for 5 minutes before turning then cook for a further 4½ minutes. Rest under foil for half the cooking time before serving.
If using a meat thermometer, The Food Standards Agency advice is that burgers should be cooked through to 70°C at the core. Lower core temperatures are a personal preference and are not an instruction.
Keep refrigerated. See label for use by date. Suitable for freezing. Freeze as soon as possible after delivery and always before the use by date. Once frozen use within 3 months. Defrost thoroughly before cooking. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
