We're delighted to have won a prestigious Food and Farming Industry Award 04/12/2017

The Yorkshire Wagyu company won Food Chain Marketing award

We're very, very pleased to say that we won the Food Chain Marketing category in the Food and Farming Industry Awards that bring together the best of British food and farming businesses.

A delighted Juli Shepherd and her mother in law, Shirley Shepherd were presented with the award on Friday at a prestigious ceremony held at the House of Commons and hosted by BBC Deputy Political Editor, John Pienaar.

"We're over the moon to win this award. The team have worked tirelessly over the last few years to grow the brand, and this award proves how successful we have been and how our hard work has paid off."

The Food and Farming Industry Awards are staged annually by Farm Business and Lewis Business Media to recognise excellence and innovation across the agricultural sector.

Farm Business publisher Simon Lewis said: "Congratulations to The Yorkshire Wagyu Company who were deserved winners on the night. Once again these awards have highlighted the breadth and depth of talent, drive and ambition in the farming sector. We are delighted to recognise the achievements of the winners, but also all of those shortlisted, which, in itself, is a great achievement."

Head judge Séan Rickard said: "As always, every category posed some real dilemmas for the judges, such was the excellence of all the entries. But congratulations to all the winners, who each managed to demonstrate something different and special about their businesses."

The Yorkshire Wagyu Company's latest award comes on the back of a win in the Regional Growth Business for Northern and Central England category at the Food and Drink Federation Awards.
